Origins of the Name

Welcome to Koinonia of Life, the web site for Christopher and Elizabeth’s marriage and family! Koinonia is a Greek word used in the New Testament to mean “fellowship,” “partnership,” or “communion.” Marriage, therefore, is a “koinonia of life”; from the spiritual aspect, it represents our fellowship with Christ throughout our lives and the our shared communion in the spiritual walk ahead of us, as it should be.

We were married on the 16th of July, 2009 in Santa Barbara, California. The ceremony was held in the Mural Room of the historic Santa Barbara Courthouse and was followed by a dinner reception at the Cabrillo Pavilion Arts Center by the beach.

We originally met and grew together in Santa Barbara, but at the end of February 2010, we moved to beautiful San Diego, California, and have been living here ever since. As we explore and get to know this city and its people better, we will update with more of the favourite people and places in our lives.

About the Site

This site exists to give our family and friends all over the world a chance to take a look into our lives at any given time and keep in touch with us.

As we move along in our lives and get more settled in our career paths, we will update this site with more information, pictures, and other miscellaneous details.

Thank you, and God bless!
